Learning Objective
Learning Objective
Learning a language is a process that takes time, effort and dedication. It is very important to be aware that learning is an individual process. Therefore, it is necessary to know what our motivations and expectations are, what our objective is (are), which strategies we can implement and which materials or resources we can use to improve our communicative skills.
In order to start your Personal Plan of Work, you are going to set a specific learning objective in English to achieve by the end of October. Before writing, take into account the English levels review and consider your needs, your interests, the proposed strategies, the materials and the result or product you want at the end of this first plan.

I want to be able to describe my family, their physical appearance, their personality, their likes and dislikes in English. At the end, I would like to describe my family orally without using a translator or any other external help.

My objective is to be able to recount in English the story of my favorite book “Playing the Enemy by John Carlin”. I would like to summarize the story in my own words and to write a short review about this book.

DeleteMy goal with this course is to make my weaknesses become strengths, that the pronunciation, grammar and listening of the English language become something natural in my daily life and not be afraid of making mistakes when I start a conversation with another person. ReplyDeleteHi guys, Alejandro M. again, I want you to know that I consider myself like and autodidact person so, I actually like to learn things by my own. I find some difficulties at the moment I talk in third person; I always forget to add the "s" sound at the end of the verbs and I'm always confused when I have to use the verb "To Have", so I end up saying "She have or He have" I know, terrible mistakes. Also I would like to get better at Perfect Times (past, present and future), I'm not really involved with this and neither with irregular past participle verbs, the last thing I would like to improve is my academic vocabulary; words like nevertheless, therefore, whilst and others.

DeleteAccording to your reflection, there are several objectives you can have in mind:
1. " I find some difficulties at the moment I talk in third person; I always forget to add the "s" sound at the end of the verbs and I'm always confused when I have to use the verb "To Have"..." in this case I suggest you to work on your grammar knowledge. To focus on details: grammar explanations and exercises.
2. "the last thing I would like to improve is my academic vocabulary;" "and reading academic textbooks from my career subjects." this is another objective,
So, What would you like to focus more? grammar or academic reading?
Hi guys! I'm Jesús. My principal objective is to be able writing and reading English, then of do it, I wanna extend my vocabulary and learn technical words about everything. So, I promise myself try to learn something everyday, and the languages is something that makes me feel exciting.
